The first time I went to see a film where my name was going to be in the credits was probably the best moment of working at Disney. Walking into the Alex Theater, being greeted by Roy Disney who told me to savor the moment of seeing my name on the screen for the first time. Sitting in my seat, waiting for my name to roll up in the Treasure Planet credits and feeling choked up when it arrived.
How bittersweet that memory is now that I have decided to let Disney go for good.
Hmmm. Glad to know that we all don't add up to a turkey sandwich... :-p
I had my moment this past week believe it or not. It was a moment that solidified everthing that we all worked for and validated all that we did collectively as a team. It was a shining moment of triumph that I will savor forever. I couldn't be prouder of all that WE all did and no one, will ever take that away from us. Although I didn't really need external validation on this, it was sure nice to hear it especially from the source. I accepted this accolade for the entire team.
I'm sorry to be cryptic, but I'll be able to give more details soon.

Hmmm . . . will this validation lead to us waking up from nightmare? Sorry to be cryptic but I seem to be in a nightmare that pays me to be in it :)
