Well, it's been over a month and I'm still waiting. Waiting for the IRS to cough up my money, waiting for the Franchise Tax Board to cough up my money, waiting for phone calls from Disney recruiters and waiting for the EDD to send my checks. What I didn't have to wait for, was my landlord to try to exploit my situation to attempt to evict me so he could move someone in and charge them more money.
Greed is so unbearably ugly.
Alas I thwarted his evil plans (for now) and have a second interview at Disneyland tomorrow. I also have an interview at Imagineering on Friday. And then... more waiting.
